The child's mother is a single parent, currently unemployed, and living with retired grandparents, with no earning members in the household.
The family was facing extreme financial hardship at a critical and distressing time. The charity's support helped ensure the child continued to receive essential life-saving medical treatment and eased the overwhelming burden on the family during this very difficult period.
